Steps
Open Settings.
Choose Integrations.
Open the HubSpot connection flow.
Authorize the HubSpot account if prompted.
Choose whether to sync all eligible contacts or only selected contact types.
Choose Sync Now to send the eligible records and review the sync summary.
What Genify sends
Genify sends the contact details available on each eligible record, such as name, email, phone, role, company, website, and location.
Genify also creates a Genify Status property in HubSpot for two-way relationship-status updates. Notes and dated tasks are sent to the matching HubSpot contact when the sync runs.
How matching and updates work
Genify uses a saved HubSpot record ID when one is available and can match an existing HubSpot contact by email. This helps update the intended record instead of creating a duplicate.
Notes and tasks flow from Genify to HubSpot. Genify Status can update in either direction. HubSpot notes, tasks, lifecycle stages, and native Lead Status values are not imported into Genify by this connection.
Keep your CRM focused
Choose All contacts when every eligible Genify relationship belongs in HubSpot, or choose Specific connection types to limit the sync.
Disconnecting removes Genify access to HubSpot. Records and activities already created in either product remain in that product unless you delete them there.
Common fixes
If HubSpot authorization fails, reconnect from Settings.
If a contact is missing in HubSpot, confirm it matched your sync rules.
If notes or tasks are missing, reconnect HubSpot to approve the current permissions, then run Sync Now again.
Tasks without a due date or reminder time are not sent because Genify does not invent a HubSpot task date.
If duplicate records appear, review your HubSpot duplicate management settings.
Frequently asked questions
Should every Genify contact sync to HubSpot?
Not always. Many users sync only contacts that belong in a sales or customer pipeline.
Does Genify delete HubSpot records?
No. Genify creates or updates the records you choose to sync, but it does not delete HubSpot contacts, notes, or tasks.
