Tasks, Notes & Follow-Up

How do I use contact status and pipeline fields?

Track relationship stage, action required status, and sales pipeline context in Genify.

Short answer

Use contact status to show what kind of attention a contact needs. Sales pipeline statuses appear when Pipeline Mode is active.

Steps

1

Open a contact.

2

Find the status or pipeline field.

3

Choose the status that best describes the relationship or next action.

4

Add a task or note if the status needs context.

5

Review status groups from contact lists or network stats where available.

Status versus task

A status summarizes the relationship state. A task tells you what to do next.

Use both when a contact needs action and you want the reason to remain clear later.

Common fixes

If sales pipeline statuses are missing, confirm Pipeline Mode is active on a Genify Plus plan.

If the status feels too broad, add a note explaining what it means.

If a contact no longer needs action, update the status so it does not stay urgent.

Frequently asked questions

Can every user see sales pipeline statuses?

No. Sales pipeline status groups are tied to Pipeline Mode and eligible plans.
